August Burns Red

August Burns Red is a Christian Metalcore  band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The band formed in March 2002 while some of the members were still in high school, and soon began playing shows around Lancaster. The band name is derived from an incident involving their first vocalist, Jon Hershey.
The band is mostly known for their heavy breakdowns and odd-meter riffs. They also cite Between the Buried and Me, Misery Signals and Hopesfall as their main influences.

The Black Dahlia Murder

The Black Dahlia Murder is an American heavy metal band from Waterford, Michigan, formed in 2000. Their band name is derived from the unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, often referred to as Black Dahlia.

Biography

The Black Dahlia Murder gained their final band line-up in January 2001 and released their first demo entitled What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse, and a four-track EP, A Cold-Blooded Epitaph, the latter of which the group released on its own Lovelost Records. After appearing in concerts such as the Milwaukee Metal Fest, The Black Dahlia Murder signed to Metal Blade Records in 2003.

The Devil Wears Prada


The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore  band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2005. They are currently signed to Warner Music Group. The Devil Wears Prada is a Christian  band, consisting of members Mike Hranica (vocals), Chris Rubey (lead guitar), Jeremy DePoyster (rhythm guitar, vocals), Andy Trick (bass), Daniel Williams (drums) and James Baney (keyboards), all of whom are Christians. To date the band has released three full-length albums, one DVD, and four music videos.

Bullet for My Valentine

Bullet for My Valentine are a Welsh metalcore  band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is composed of Matt Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar), Jason James (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Michael Thomas (drums). They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica  and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. Financial difficulties dictated the name change, which was followed by a change in music direction. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic heavy metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Slayer.

Trivium

Trivium is an American metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999. The band has released four studio albums, eleven singles, and twelve music videos. Signed to Roadrunner Records, the band has attended major music festivals, including Ozzfest and the Download Festival.
